Two of Australia’s Largest Sports Join Forces in the USA: USAFL and Netball America®!

PARTNERSHIP BRINGS A SHARED MISSION OF ADVOCATING AND GROWING AUSTRALIAN SPORTS IN THE UNITED STATES
USA – Netball America®, the largest Netball association in the USA and the United States Australian Football
League (USAFL) is thrilled to announce a strategic partnership bringing together two sister organizations with a
shared mission: to advocate for Australian sports in the USA, grow participation at every level, and advance
opportunities in sport, particularly for women and girls.

partnership creates new opportunities to share our love of the game, engage diverse communities, and provide
pathways for more women, youth, and families to get involved. Together, we can amplify the reach and impact of
both our sports while celebrating the values of teamwork, inclusion, and cultural exchange,” says April Munn,
President, United States Australian Football League.


This partnership will launch at Netball America’s® My Netball International Sports Academy. This training
weekend will bring together both Netball and AFL players and coaches to receive training from world champion
professional athletes and coaches including a World Series Baseball Champion – Brian Anderson, the G.O.A.T. of
Netball and former pro basketball athlete – Gretel Bueta, a former Division 1 athlete and doctor in sport social
work – Dr Marlene Holmes, a former pro rugby athlete and international coach Nigel Prasad, Mo’ana Gerrard, a
world Netball champion will be joined with April Munn.


At this event the USAFL athletes will take on the Netball America® athletes in agility, speed and balance testing
performed using an amazing AI tool provided by Talentlockr who’ll provide strength/weaknesses feedback.

 Leading up to this event, The USAFL Los Angeles Dragons will undergo the Talentlockr testing on August
20th , along with the Santa Monica Spirits Netball Club.
