The San Diego Lions are an United States Australian Football League team founded in 1997 and based in San Diego, California. The Lions are a social club first.  That said, we enjoy a tradition of success on the field.  By joining the Lions, there is potential for you to reach the highest level of Aussie Rules in the U.S. The San Diego Lions’ commitment to making a positive community impact goes beyond the field. We have proudly partnered with San Diego Big Brothers Big Sisters to bring the excitement and athleticism of Australian Rules Football to local youth. Through our clinic for kids aged 8-15, we introduce the sport, teach them the fundamentals, and share the importance of teamwork, physical activity, and having fun. These events provide incredible opportunities for our club to give back to the community and inspire the next generation of athletes.
