SAFC was founded in 2009 by Helen Mondia-Harvey, and Matt and Amy Bishop. Our first pay-to-play league was our Aussie Rules Rec version of the game which has proven to be an effective recruiting tool over the past decade. The Suns typically have full men’s and women’s teams participate at Nationals annually. A priority for the future of our club, is our youth program, which is chaired by Kendall Hutchings. We have hosted numerous free community events and school in-services with our long term goal of having enough support to host a pay-to-play youth league.
