The Nashville Kangaroos were one of the founding clubs of the USAFL back in 1997 and have competed ever since across the country, taking on all comers. The club has a strong Aussie contingency but always had more Americans than Aussies which makes for a great mix in developing the game. The club has been active in the community and schools to promote health and sport, and for a number of years also had a netball team (which also has a national championship to its name). The Club has been a strong supporter of “off field” game promotion as well, being the first to have live commentary at games, and has a long history of subjectively providing the best American umpires.
