The Los Angeles Dragons Football Club was founded in 2010 by a group of passionate Aussie Rules players, both American and Australian. They were inspired to come together to start a new, fresh Australian football club to represent Los Angeles at the national level in the USAFL. Building a new sporting club from the ground up in the Los Angeles metro area was challenging, but history shows, also very rewarding. Central to the club charter was to build a strong, progressive American sporting club, to evangelize the game of Aussie Rules with a focus on local, grassroots player development, while fostering a strong social environment for its members. Culture, the brand, and sportsmanship are pivotal to the clubs mission.
